Our Layers of Protection

This guide explains the different "security zones" we use to keep your home safe. It shows how we isolate the "thinking" parts of our system from the "acting" parts.

Security Zone Rules:​

  1. Secrets Isolation: The unique digital keys for your devices (The Vault) are kept far away from the AI Brain. The AI can suggest an action, but it never has the "keys" to actually open a door or turn a light on itself.
  2. Thinking Filter: Every suggestion from the AI is filtered through our Smart Shield. This shield has a list of "forbidden actions" that no AI is ever allowed to perform (like changing its own security rules).
  3. Physical Verification: Every message from a physical device is verified using a "Digital Seal" that changes every time. This ensures that no one can "record and replay" a command from the past.
  4. Fail-Safe Isolation: If a device starts acting strangely, it's moved to a restricted zone where it can no longer talk to the rest of your home until it's fixed.
